In 2018, the temporary exhibition Belle Epoque Schatten was dedicated to Thonet, the father of design.
To celebrate its tenth anniversary, the Centre Belle Epoque organised an additional exhibition on ceramics from Bredene and Hasselt. Beautiful vases from Hasselt (collection Verzamelaars Unie Hasseltse Keramiek) and very rare pottery from Bredene (collection Daniël Lamote) were on display.
