Willy & Wanda are planning their trip to Blankenberge in 2020! They celebrate their 75th anniversary, we celebrate our 750th anniversary. To celebrate that, they make a comic book starring Blankenberge. An exhibition at various locations in the city will give the party year a contemporary twist.
- Indoor locations: library (2>6 p.m.), Casino (2>6 p.m.), Belgium Pier (2>6 p.m.), Belle Epoque Centre (2>6 p.m. - closed on Mondays), SEA LIFE (10 a.m.>5 p.m.), hotel Mercure (10 a.m.>4 p.m.)
- Outdoor locations: Promenade (Casino>Belgium Pier) and Casinoplein
Reservations must be made in advance, as only 200 people per day are allowed to visit the exhibition via this link Wearing a mouth mask is mandatory when visiting the expo!
Since Blankenberge has the largest Belle Epoque heritage on the coast, the Belle Epoque Centre is a must as a venue. Here you will experience a journey through time and get to know Vitamitje. You will discover the cartoon heroes in a real Belle Epoque setting.
If you want to visit the Belle Epoque Centre you also have to make a reservation for the Belle Epoque Centre. Use the discount code you find on your ticket so you can have a free entry for the Belle Epoque Centre.
